Happy New Year!!
My first new pattern for the new year is now available!!
Rivers of Ice Lace Scarf! It is available for immediate download after purchase from Craftsy and Ravelry. Despite its name-- “Rivers of Ice”-- this is a very warm, yet, lacy scarf with a lovely, wavy pattern stitch that reminds one of the fancy ice that forms in rivers, streams, and brooks in winter. The scarf is knitted with an edging first, then, stitches are picked up to begin the body of the scarf. A second edge is worked and sewn on to the scarf to finish it. There are plenty of fun, knitting techniques, such as; double yarn overs, and lots of increases and decreases in this scarf to keep one interested in its development. With charts as well as written instructions to follow, and a soft, heathery, fingering weight wool, one can make this scarf a must have for winter accessories!

Hello Knitting friends!
I finally finished my Pumpkin Pie Shawl. It took me a while to design, knit and format instructions. I was inspired by Elizabeth Zimmerman's pi shawl. Only instead of knitting in the round and being round, I wanted it to be curved to fit around the shoulders, and knitted back and forth on circular needles. I used KnitPicks Palette fingering weight yarn in 4 pumpkin-like colors for a warm autumn feel. I hope that you like it! It is available for purchase from ravelry and craftsy for $4.00--for immediate download. Here are the links:
