Lily of the Valley Bridal shawl--Evolutions of a design!

Hi everyone,
Well I am so glad to see spring! the grass is just starting to green up, and there are buds on some trees!

I wanted to show my new shawl which I have designed and is now available in my pattern stores. I also thought it would be interesting for you to see the evolution of its design.  Here is it all finished first!

A fancy new scarf pattern and signs of spring!

Happy Spring everyone!

I have seen signs of spring! Robins, crocuses in bloom in my yard, a chipmunk, pussy-willows and the best of all--the ground!!  LAND HO!! It seemed like it would take forever for all that snow on the lawn to melt and the giant snowbanks too! But they are all nearly gone!  I have heard the frogs peeping 2 days so far.

The scarf pattern I am showing on here is still a lovely airy lacy scarf in-spite of its name"BLUE FROST LACE SCARF"!   It is really fun to knit and seemed to be a quick project with its lovely frosty pattern swirling up the center like frost designs on the window!  You can find this pattern in my pattern stores Ravelry, Craftsy and Etsy!  Here are links:

My Easter scarfs

Happy Easter holidays to everyone!
I hope you all have a blessed Easter!

I am waiting on Dr.s diagnosis and treatment decisions this week, so I hope that I can keep my eyes on Jesus for His love and support and not worry about my left arm--it has a golf-ball sized cyst in the humerus (upper arm).  I am only really allowed to knit and no lifting with my arm!

I thought since I kind of got behind on my designs this week that I would like to show you last years Easter scarf patterns. (I had hoped to have a new one this year, but I couldn't work on it yet). So here is my scarves again!

The first one is my favorite one that brings ones mind to God--THE CROSS OF CHRIST LACE SCARF. It is a great pattern to make for Easter and for church in general or ministers who wear scarves!

The other one is my BUNNIES ON PARADE LACE SCARF!  After my hubby inspired me to design a scarf with a cross I really also wanted to do something with a bunny--now I adore Easter Bunnies and love to collect them! This is a very cute fluffy tailed bunny motif!

Estonian Rapture

Hi friends!
Spring is welcome here finally!! I am so happy to see the pussy willows and Robins!  And here in Maine with all its snow--I can see land!!! Ha Ha!

This winter and spring I have been enraptured by Estonian lace knit stitches. So, being inspired by that, I have designed some scarves and a dainty shawl with some of those lovely stitches!  They are all available in my pattern stores in Ravelry, Craftsy and Etsy!

Here to start is my lacy scarf--Airy Leaves Lace Scarf. It is so pretty once its is blocked out to open up the lace! Next, I have the Grape Ivy Lace Scarf. It has lovely leaves running up through it! It would be pretty in any color!

Then we have the Estonian Fantasy Lace Scarf worked in a tonal lace weight yarn. It features lots of nupps, which are really quite fun to knit once you get the hang of it, a lovely diamond lace with fern sides. It is so pretty in the yarn from Knitpicks. I really enjoyed this scarf so much.

And one of my favorite works of art--Estonian Enchantment Shawl! I am so pleased with the finished look of this shawl. It looked bunchy when I was knitting it, but after it was blocked--WOW! It is just so gorgeous! This was knitted in lace weight yarn as well, and it is dainty and fit for a bride!
