Color changing scarves and the foliage in my yard!

Good morning everyone!
What gorgeous fall mornings we are having here in Maine--in the western hills! I love fall and its changing colors. I took a little trip around my yard this morning and took some foliage pictures.  I also have pictures of my scarves knitted with fabulous color--changing yarn from Knitpicks (Chroma fingering). Here are lots of color changes!!

The scarves are: Lacy Parfait Scarf and Floating Leaves Lace Scarf. I have another scarf with this great yarn in the works, which will come out in October.  You can find the patterns for these scarves in my Craftsy, Etsy or Ravelry stores under those titles.

Don't you just LOVE those rich reds?  How do you like that crystal blue sky?

My Adventure in the woods and a new scarf for fall!

Hi everyone,
I can't hardly believe how fast September is going! The leaves are changing colors here, but they are not great yet.  I certainly don't want to rush the fall! I just finished up a new scarf pattern especially for Autumn! Here is my Fall Foliage Lace Scarf worked in a lovely fingering yarn from KnitPicks in Palette.  The color is called "Sweet Potato". I designed this scarf with lots of leaves to give that fall foliage atmosphere to the scarf. You can find my scarf pattern in Ravelry, Craftsy or Etsy for $3.99. here are some links:

I have over the past year taken my photos of my scarves out in my yard near the house. But recently the Landlord came through and would you believe it--he cut down my favorite branches!!! I used to hang my scarves on them. So needless to say I decided to hunt for more branches or rocks for use as a photo-shoot! I took some pictures of the trees and other things like the puffballs! My yard has not gotten its full color yet, but there were some pretty spots here and there for me to share!

Along the way I saw a cute little chipmunk perched on a nearby rock. He stayed right there so I could take his picture. I then walked down over the bank below my house, and looking down I saw the cute little puffball cluster! I thought the woods though still mostly green was still pretty in some spots. Maybe this weekend they will be even prettier! One tree looking up was gorgeous!!

First a few pictures of the scarf, then the yard!

Have a great Labor Day Weekend!

Hi everyone!
What a wet Labor day it is today! I am just glad I am home with my hubby! I have been working on a couple of patterns for scarves and revising the charts. I wanted to post some nice pictures of a pond we went to a few weeks ago for a cookout! I took my knitting and worked on knitting the Fantasy Lace Baby Bonnet! It is a great project to bring places. It is so quick to knit! (My design)
The cook-out was on my hubby's birthday and it was a very nice afternoon and evening! I could see the pretty sky at sunset through the trees over the pond. A few days later, we went kayaking in our inflatable kayaks at that location! There are some charming little islands out there, but since we had only inflatable kayaks and I am not much of a swimmer, we didn't go out that far! I have had my eye on those islands for years! We had a nice fire too! Here are some pictures!
