Basic Baby socks with 3 needles

Have you tried knitting socks with the traditional 4 double pointed needles, but got frustrated with the awkwardness? Well, my sock patterns only use 3 needles.  It uses two for the stitches and one to knit with.  I have found it to be much easier to knit socks this way.  All your work is divided in halves, the front half and back half (heel side). I find it great fun to design socks in this manner too. This pattern for the basic baby socks will help you to learn to work with this method, and it also includes 3 sizes. It also features the short row heel.

Here are the links to this pattern for purchase!

Desert Ripple Lace Scarf or Indian Ripple Lace Scarf

I decided to take a look back at all my posts and see if I missed any of my designs that are available. To start here is my very first pattern that I put online in Ravelry and Craftsy! This scarf was a fun pattern to develop.  I love the colors it is worked in.  They are from KnitPicks Palette, a fingering weight yarn. The pattern stitch is a revision of the porcupine stitch. I really liked the ripple pattern, but felt that my version came out nicer! I have also had it put on the Knitpicks website under the title--Desert Ripple Lace Scarf, so you can purchase from there if you desire.  Here are the links:

Raspberry Cream Pi Shawl

Hello my knitting friends!
How glorious May is with its promising Spring, fresh leaves, and warmer weather! With Mother's Day coming I have designed a shawl pattern that would be perfect for mom.  It would also because of its light weight yarn (fingering) be wonderful to wear on those breezy chilly evenings or summer days!  It is knitted with KnitPicks Palette yarn, (which has so many wonderful colors to pick from).  I used a lovely pink yarn that reminded me of raspberry cream pie! And being made by inspiration of that famous Pi formula from Elizabeth Zimmerman--it is fairly easy to knit.  It features lots of lace stitches.

You can buy the pattern for immediate download from either of these two places:
